Profile / Experience
I am a Caseworker in the Public Law Department at Duncan Lewis, based in the Harrow office in north-west London. I work on a wide range of immigration and asylum claims; human rights matters; and judicial review claism under the supervision of Director Toufique Hossain. I have a particular interest in public international law work.
Prior to joining Duncan Lewis, I worked with the United Nations Human Rights Council (OHCHR) in Geneva and the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg where I assisted lawyers on human rights claims under the European Convention on Human Rights. Additionally, I spent six months working with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (UNHCR) in London, where I assisted the refugee Legal Protection Team on a broad range of legal and policy matters relating to refugee and asylum seekers' rights in the UK, Europe, and internationally.
I have also worked for several charities and NGOs in the UK and abroad. I am currently a London-based researcher for the NGO Refugee Rights Europe and the Equal Rights Trust.
I have a working knowledge of French, Italian, and German and basic knowledge of Spanish.
