Duncan Lewis Solicitors welcomes solicitor Alex Peebles to the Public Law team.

Alex has represented clients in the High Court, the Court of Appeal, and the European Court of Human Rights. Alex was admitted as a solicitor in 2008, and prior to joining the Duncan Lewis Public Law team, Alex was a Solicitor and Office Manager of the Public Law Team at Irwin Mitchell’s Newcastle Office, and a Solicitor at Ben Hoare Bell Solicitors in Newcastle.



Alex joins Duncan Lewis with experience in a broad range of Public Law matters including:

  • Commercial, Social Care and Environmental Judicial Review
  • Regulatory and fitness to practice cases in regulatory tribunals
  • Discrimination matters relating to the Equality Act
  • Regulatory and Higher Education disputes including fitness to practice tribunal matters
