Priya Jandu

I am a Supervising Divorce and Family Solicitor at the Birmingham branch of Duncan Lewis Solicitors, assisting clients across West Midlands, Worcestershire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire and the surrounding areas, as well as nationwide via remote consultations. I joined the firm in July 2023 and have extensive experience in advising and assisting clients to put in place arrangements following a relationship breakdown. I support clients on a broad range of family law matters, including both straightforward cases and complex High Net Worth divorce and financial remedy proceedings.

I also work alongside clients regarding private children proceedings (child arrangement orders, prohibited steps orders and specific issue orders), together with injunctions/non-molestation orders on a private paying and legal aid basis. I have worked on cases requiring urgent, without notice applications with highly successful outcomes.

I am committed to providing a supportive and efficient service, ensuring clients feel informed and confident throughout their matter. I adopt a pragmatic and solution-focused approach, whether a case is resolved through negotiation or court proceedings. I have extensive experience working with clients who have been victims of domestic abuse and have had a trauma-informed approach to my work.

I understand that the nature of these proceedings is highly sensitive and can often feel overwhelming. I work alongside the client to support and advocate their position to ensure the most positive outcome for them, keeping them fully informed along the way.
