Manjinder Kaur Atwal, Housing Director and Solicitor at Duncan Lewis, talks on RT UK about the Government’s low level of spending on social housing. Manjinder points out that her clients have been dealing with issues of homelessness because of unaffordable housing. People on a low income are being evicted or forced to move outside their boroughs because they cannot afford their rent. Manjinder states that the reason why so many people on low incomes are in this position is because the Government has failed to invest in social housing.
