Kate Guseva

I am a Solicitor in the Private and Business Immigration Department at Duncan Lewis, working within a dedicated team of solicitors, trainees, and caseworkers under the supervision of Director, Vicash Ramkissoon. I manage a diverse caseload of private immigration matters. My practice encompasses the full spectrum of UK immigration law, providing comprehensive advice to both private individuals and corporate clients.

I have extensive experience in the Skilled Worker visa route. I guide both foreign employees and employers through the application process, sponsor licence compliance, and various issues such as challenging refusals and overturning civil penalties.

I regularly handle applications under the family and private life routes, indefinite leave to remain, and have developed a specialist expertise in complex British nationality cases and naturalisation. I am also experienced in managing appeals to overturn refused decisions of Article 8 ECHR, family and private life applications. I have successfully represented clients in a variety of asylum applications and appeals, who have been persecuted in their home countries.

My background includes successful applications under the EU Settlement scheme, and I am currently deepening my expertise in human rights law by assisting with challenging deportation cases. My approach is always tailored to the client's specific situation, providing determined and supportive legal guidance to navigate the complexities of the UK immigration system.

I am fluent in written and spoken Russian and Lithuanian.
