Jasmine Carr

Jasmine Carr has a personal experience within both her family and friends with neurodiversity, and has worked on a number of cases where parents or children alike are neurodiverse within the family court arena.

As such Jasmine has a good understanding of the common issue which needs addressing to ensure inclusivity and diversity of neurodivergent parents. This is something Jasmine is keen to promote, as well as combatting any harmful myths, as such she did not hesitate to complete the Level 2 Qualification in Understanding Autism in 2023, and join the specialist team at Duncan Lewis. Jasmine has also completed the Level 2 Qualification in Self Harm and Suicide Awareness and Prevention in 2022 which further expanded her knowledge on these important issues.

Jasmine appreciates that neurodivergent individuals may experience the world differently and may have unique needs which are essential for creating a supportive environment, especially due to the sensitive and emotive issues that arise within Family Proceedings.
