Talat joined Duncan Lewis Solicitors in 2015 after qualifying as a Solicitor through her traineeship with the Legal Aid Agency in 2010. Her commitment to her clients and the legal profession during her career has earned her the distinction of being ranked as a Rising Star in The Legal 500 UK.
Specialising in all aspects of family law, Talat has a particular focus on public law children proceedings. Her extensive experience includes representing clients in complex cases involving issues such as substance abuse, mental health challenges, learning disabilities, and cultural differences in child-rearing practices. She is also well-versed in handling cases concerning Wardship, immigration control, and proceedings under the Children Act.
As a member of the Law Society's Children Law Panel, Talat is recognised for her expertise in Children's Law.
