Patrick Page was recently interviewed on ABN radio alongside Queen Naa TsotÂsoo Soyoo discussing the recent ruling from the ECJ.
The ruling states that it is not unlawful to ban religious, political or philosophical symbols in the workplace where a company wishes to project a neutral image and this 'neutral' image is enshrined in the companies internal rules. Patrick discusses the vague nature of the terms in the judgement, how it seems to conflict with the Strasbourg decision in Eweida, and the extent to which this ruling might affect UK citizens. Patrick also discussed the ambiguity around what it means to project a 'neutral' image.
