We are pleased to announce that we have been included in The Times’ 200 Best Law Firms 2021 list, which compiles the best lawyers for business, public and private-client law in England and Wales.
Impressively, we have been commended for our work in three areas of law; administrative and public law, human rights, and immigration, with the firm included as one of the top three law firms for its immigration practice.
Our entry highlights the work carried out involving charter flights to Jamaica and Spain; our prevention of unlawful removals; the resettlement of 15 LGBTQ Syrian refugees; our representation of boxer Kelvin Bilal Fawaz; and our work, which led to the first public inquiry into immigration detention at Brook House.
Also noted is our involvement in the Grenfell Tower inquiry and the work we carry out on behalf of those affected by the Windrush scandal.
We are pleased to have been included in this prestigious list and offer congratulations to all our lawyers in particular those involved in our commended practices.
Practice Manager Jason Bruce comments:
“It is an honour and a privilege for Duncan Lewis Solicitors to be included in such a prestigious list. We are proud of our recognition, highlighting how successful we have been in achieving our goal of ensuring access to justice and giving a voice to some of the most vulnerable individuals in society.”
This listing comes shortly after another outstanding year in both The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners UK and The Law Society naming the firm ‘Large Law Firm of the Year’ at the recent annual Law Society Excellence Awards.
