We are delighted to reveal that five of our directors are included in the ‘Next Generation Partners’ list in this year’s edition of The Legal 500.
Adeeba Naseem, Alia Lewis, Alex Peebles, Manjinder Kaur Atwal, and Toufique Hossain are each ranked as a Next Generation Lawyer in their field, with Toufique being included for both his public law and immigration work.
Adeeba and Alia are both ranked as Next Generation Lawyers in the South East – family category, both are also listed as recommended lawyers for their work in this area. Their rankings come alongside the family practice in the South East being promoted from a Tier 3 to Tier 2 practice, described as; “… really supportive and very efficient”.
Alia comments on her ranking;
“I am extremely proud to have achieved a ranking in The Legal 500 as a Next Generation Lawyer in recognition of my work. This would not have been possible without my clients and peers taking the time to provide feedback to the Legal 500, for which I am incredibly grateful; or without the support from my fantastic and extremely hard working team.”
Adeeba also comments;
“It is wonderful to be included as a Next Generation Lawyer and to have the work that my team and I have undertaken in the last year be acknowledged and praised by The Legal 500. I am extremely proud of this achievement and I am pleased to be recognised as someone who has made a material difference in the area of family law.”
Also included is director Alex Peebles who is noted for his London-based Court of Protection practice. Alex was named director of the Duncan Lewis Court of Protection department last July, the 2020 edition of The Legal 500 has seen the practice increase its ranking from Tier 3 up to Tier 2, a reflection of the quality of the work he and his team have produced in the last year.
London also sees housing director Manjinder Kaur Atwal included ranked in the region’s social housing category. This combined with her recommended lawyer status and her further ranking as an elite Leading Individual, shines a spotlight on the high-quality work she provides to her clients.
“I am delighted and extremely proud to be included as a Next Generation Lawyer in this edition of The Legal 500. I have worked hard with my team over the last year and it is wonderful that this work has been recognised and rewarded.”
Public law director Toufique Hossain adds two Next Generation Lawyer rankings to his existing haul of recommendations and the prestigious Leading Individual ranking. Noted for his work in the London category of Administrative and public law, and his immigration practice in the South East, the directory pays particular attention to his challenge to the Secretary of State for the Home Department’s failure to investigate abuse at the Brook House Immigration Removal Centre.
We are exceptionally proud of the thoroughly deserving achievements of all five of our Next Generation Lawyers and offer them all huge congratulations.
