We are delighted to reveal that Duncan Lewis is shortlisted in the Charities and Philanthropy category at the inaugural Modern Law Private Client Awards 2023.

Modern Law has hailed this a fantastic achievement, as “we have been overwhelmed with the volume of nominations for the inaugural year.”

In accepting Duncan Lewis’ submission, judges acknowledged the fantastic work across the company supporting charities and individuals.

The company’s dedication to supporting the underprivileged enables the company to follow through on its commitment to giving people a voice, as well as providing the highest quality legal services and upholding the rule of law, as well as to ensuring fair access to quality legal services for all.

Along with recognising the vital efforts of our hard-working Charity Committee, judges accepted that the incredible amount of personal, one to one time our team members dedicate to charitable work each year makes them truly exceptional.

Some of the scores of charities and organisations supported by the company and its team highlighted in the submission included Not Beyond Redemption, Women's Aid, MENCAP, the national FGM clinic, FORWARD, the University of East London, Cancer Research UK, Will Aid and Refugee Community Kitchen, Mental Health UK and Anti-Slavery.

Judges also acknowledged our successful promotional work and support for national and international awareness campaigns such as World Autism Acceptance Week, and MacMillan Coffee Morning were essential to the company's ethos.

The Awards Ceremony takes place on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at The Rum Warehouse in Liverpool.
