The Immigration Law Practitioners' Association (IPLA) invited Duncan Lewis to join a group of solicitors and translators who were helping to improve the reception conditions of asylum seekers in Greece.
Marios Kontos, Sondos Arafa and Zofia Duszynska worked with solicitors and barristers from 4 other law firms to aid refugees with their asylum claims as the quality of the initial claim tends to be make or break in the success of the case. As a result of the current low quality, overstretched resources available at reception points, asylum seekers are frequently being denied their rights.
