An immigration related charity was to be chosen by Duncan Lewis for August's charity nomination. The charities Praxis and Refugee Action both received considerable votes, however unfortunately narrowly lost to the Refugee Youth Project.
The Refugee Youth Project is a voluntary organisation that works with community-based partners to provide support and activities for young refugees and asylum seekers.
They aim to encourage refugee youth participation in project planning, implementation and evaluation. The organisation is run by a team of skilled and committed volunteers.
Duncan Lewis donated £1,000 to the chosen charity to assist them in the fantastic work that they do.
