We are delighted to announce that highly experienced Civil Litigation Director Sunil Patel has joined Duncan Lewis.

Sunil will steer a City of London based team using more than two decades of knowledge and expertise in the realm of litigation, having gained admission to the roll of solicitors in 2002.

He specialises in corporate insolvency, skilfully representing former directors of insolvent companies grappling with allegations of unlawful trading and breaches of duties. His proficiency extends to personal insolvency matters, where he navigates intricate high-value petitions, often involving complex financial arrangements.

Additionally, Sunil's comprehensive experience encompasses multi-track litigation, ranging from contractual disputes between commercial entities to partnership disputes. He adeptly handles contentious probate cases, challenging issues of capacity, and disputes over the beneficial ownership of property. Sunil is also well versed in high-value and complex debt recovery, displaying a diverse and robust legal skill set.

Sunil Patel has demonstrated his legal prowess through notable cases, including successfully representing a High Net Worth (HNW) individual in an application to the EU General Court for the removal of sanctions.
