Legal 500 Leading Law Firm Duncan Lewis are pleased to announce that as from November 2015 they will be offering Legal Aid work for eligible Clinical Negligence claims, and the arrival of with new Clinical Negligence Solicitor Emma Lutrario.
Duncan Lewis Solicitors are pleased to announce that as from November 2015 their Clinical Negligence department will accepting Legal Aid work for eligible children’s neurological injury claims. When a child is the victim of a neurological injury it can have a tragic impact on the life of the child and its family. When the injury is a result of Clinical Negligence by a medical profession the emotional and physical damage is devastating.
Children’s neurological injuries are the only type of Clinical Negligence claims that can be issued under Legal Aid, and must be made no later than 8 weeks of the affected child’s birth date. These types of claims are extremely complex and must be handled by a sympathetic and experienced Solicitor.
Duncan Lewis is one of a small number of firms in the UK with a Legal Aid franchise in children’s neurological injuries. Duncan Lewis are known for being a caring and considerate Clinical Negligence law firm and our specialist Medical and Clinical Negligence lawyers go that extra mile to make sure that the interests of clients making claims are placed first at every stage of the claims process. Our solicitors always fight for maximum compensation and regularly achieve settlements by negotiation or following trial. We have significant experience in handling claims on a no win, no fee basis. Unlike some law firms, Duncan Lewis make no deductions from our clients’ medical negligence compensation. Instead, the legal costs involved in a claim will be recovered directly from the third party or the insurer of the third party, along with your compensation and expenses.
In addition to children’s neurological injury claims, Duncan Lewis operate a specialised Clinical Negligence which handles all claims including but not limited to surgical errors, misdiagnosis and fatality claims. While operating from the firm’s Harrow branch, Duncan Lewis Clinical Negligence Solicitors act for clients nationwide and are able to act for clients nationwide subject to the individual claim.
Duncan Lewis Solicitors are also pleased to announce the arrival of Clinical Negligence Solicitor Emma Lutrario to the firm.
