As a firm, Duncan Lewis is proud of its dedication to equal opportunities and is committed to recruiting and retaining the most talented employees regardless of their gender, ethnicity, or background. Duncan Lewis places a great value on the unique and varied talents of its work force and understands that meaningful diversity within the company directly influences its excellence in client service.

Recruiting talent from a range of diverse backgrounds is a crucial aspect of the Duncan Lewis Equality and Diversity Policy, with over 60% or more of both the overall workforce and the board of directors being BAME, Duncan Lewis is demonstrating a continued fulfilment of its policy.

It is thanks to a range of adopted policies that Duncan Lewis can continue to support equality and diversity in the workforce. Cross-cultural awareness training is in place in order to generate a fully functional team that reflects and is best placed to assist the range of communities served by the firm.

By having a diverse workforce throughout all of the Duncan Lewis offices across England and Wales, clients receive a tailored service with different customs, traditions, faiths and languages taken into consideration, enabling solicitors to provide high-quality legal advice and assistance, and access to justice to all, including communities where certain cultural or language barriers make accessing mainstream legal services problematic.

“We are committed to providing services to our clients across London and throughout England and Wales in a manner which embraces diversity and promotes equality of opportunity. We are proud of the diverse range of legal services we offer and are also committed to having a diverse workforce that reflects and best serves its clients and their communities at all levels.
