Duncan Lewis Solicitors Shortlisted for Law Firm of the Year at the Women and Diversity in Law Awards (11 February 2026)

Duncan Lewis Solicitors is proud to announce that the firm has been shortlisted as a finalist for Law Firm of the Year at the Women and Diversity in Law Awards, with the winners set to be announced on 29 April at the London Marriott Hotel.

The award recognises the progress law firms are making in advancing diversity and inclusion across the profession. Judges assess innovative and effective D&I strategies, with particular focus on internal initiatives, inclusive client work, collaborations and community programmes. Duncan Lewis’ shortlist reflects the firm’s long-standing commitment to embedding equality, representation and access to justice at every level of its organisation.

Our mission of ensuring equal access to justice extends beyond the clients we represent. We are dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities within the legal profession, supporting social mobility, and fostering a workplace culture where individuals from all backgrounds can thrive and progress.

As a Disability Confident Employer and member of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Scheme, we have supported 130 employees with reasonable adjustments and provide flexible working arrangements for more than 80 staff members. Our progressive HR policies - including menopause, pregnancy loss, neurodiversity and family-support policies - help ensure our people feel seen, supported and valued.

We continue to strengthen inclusive leadership pathways and champion innovation in legal service delivery, including specialist support for neurodivergent and disabled clients. Our Family department established the UK’s first dedicated neurodiversity legal team, which has since received national recognition at The Family Law Awards 2024 and the Resolution Awards 2024. Across the firm, our staff collectively speak more than 60 languages, enabling clients to access legal advice in their first language and fostering trust within the communities we serve.
