In its feature, The Times commended Duncan Lewis for its commitment to administrative and public law, family law, and immigration. The publication specifically highlighted Duncan Lewis’s vital role in high-profile cases that impact both national policy and individual lives. Among these was the firm's challenge to the UK government’s Rwanda immigration policy, where Duncan Lewis successfully represented clients in opposition to this legislation up until the scheme’s scrapping in July 2024. The Times also spotlighted the firm’s work in the Grenfell Tower inquiry, representing survivors and bereaved families, ensuring their voices were heard and their experiences acknowledged in this landmark investigation.

The claim was later withdrawn when Lord Chancellor Shabana Mahmood committed to reviewing these fees by the end of November—a step forward for access to justice that Duncan Lewis helped achieve.

Additionally, Duncan Lewis’s family law team has been recognised for pioneering the Family Law Advice for the Neurodivergent Community (FLANC). Co-founded our Family and Child Care team, FLANC is a cross-firm working group dedicated to removing barriers for neurodivergent individuals in family law proceedings. This initiative highlights the unique needs of neurodivergent families and actively advocates for mandatory training on neurodivergence, best practice guidance and systemic change within child protection and family justice.
