Based in the firm’s Croydon branch but providing Employment Law services throughout London Anthony is a confident and accomplished Employment Lawyer with a proven track record of successfully advising individuals and employers on all aspects of employment law.
Anthony advises individuals on their rights including reviewing contracts; guiding them through disciplinary and grievance procedures; devising exit strategies (including on the enforceability of restrictive covenants) and negotiating and advising on the terms of settlement agreements. Anthony has successfully represented individuals at employment tribunals and judicial mediations. He has also supported and led employers in a variety of industries on matters ranging from recruitment to dismissal. He is an experienced tribunal advocate and successfully defended employment tribunal claims involving complex issues of unfair dismissal, race, sex and disability discrimination, TUPE, whistleblowing and insolvency.
Anthony has a particular strength in advising on discrimination and has notably defended employers in complex sex and disability discrimination claims. For employees, Anthony recently secured a six figure compensation settlement in a contested sex/maternity related claim as well as negotiating a large settlement in race and victimisation claims.
Anthony has written extensively in trade and legal publications and designed and delivered training seminars on a wide range of employment topics.
