Duncan Lewis, Main Solicitors, Duncan Lewis Solicitors’ Wills and Probate department are participating in Cancer Research’s Free Will service

Duncan Lewis Solicitors are pleased to announce that our Wills and Probate department is collaborating with Cancer Research UK and its free will service for those aged 55 and over.

As part of the Free Will Service, our solicitors will draft a simple will, mirror will, codicil or mirror codicil for free for those who meet the eligibility criteria, with Cancer Research UK covering the cost of this service. We can create new wills or amend pre-existing ones as part of this service.

Every year hundreds of supporters choose to leave a legacy gift to Cancer Research UK in their wills, the Free Will Service was launched as a way offer something in return for the generous support shown.

Those who choose to make a free will with us are under no obligation to make a donation to Cancer Research UK however, any donations made to Cancer Research will go towards their continued fight against cancer. Should you wish for your donation to go towards research into a specific type of cancer or to provide support in your local area, Cancer Research UK will endeavour to meet this wish as far as reasonably possible.

Any donation made to Cancer Research UK, big or small, goes towards the essential research carried out and the support services offered to those with cancer and their families. A donation of just £5 is enough to provide one lab with the essential chemicals they need for daily experiments.

In order to be eligible for this service you must meet the eligibility criteria established in Cancer Research’s terms and conditions. You must be aged 55 or over to qualify for the service, however, if you are making a mirror will only one of you needs to be 55.

Duncan Lewis Solicitors’ Wills and Probate department is headed by Director, Caroline Roche who is based in our Harrow office in London. Caroline wholeheartedly supports this campaign:

“I am delighted to be participating in such a worthy campaign. Having lost several family members to cancer, cancer is a very emotive subject for me and something which impacts nearly all of us through someone we know or ourselves personally. It is for this reason that I shall be devoting myself wholeheartedly to raising money for Cancer Research UK through the provision of free Wills to our qualifying Clients. I hope that our contribution can have a positive impact in researching and developing methods to beating cancer and assisting those who are currently suffering from cancer.”
