We are delighted to announce that Tamana Aziz, Director of Immigration and Public Law at Duncan Lewis Solicitors, has contributed to a newly published legal textbook, Immigration Law and Practice, produced in collaboration with CILEX Education and former Immigration Judge Richard McKee.

This important publication is designed to provide a comprehensive and practical guide to immigration law in the UK, aimed particularly at aspiring legal professionals and those undertaking the CILEX qualification. Drawing on decades of experience, the text combines legal precision with accessible, practitioner-focused insights.

Tamana Aziz has authored three key chapters, Chapters 13, 14, and 15, which explore the essential attributes and practices of an effective immigration lawyer. Her contributions offer valuable guidance on professional standards and the proactive approach needed to navigate the evolving complexities of UK immigration law. These chapters underscore the importance of diligence, client care, and legal adaptability in achieving successful outcomes in both private and publicly funded immigration cases.
