Duncan Lewis Solicitors is pleased to announce the promotion of Amanda Willmoreto the position of Director, effective from June 1st, 2023.

Amanda joined Duncan Lewis in July 2022 as a supervisor within the Family law department, based in the Milton Keynes office and covering the surrounding areas from Luton, Northampton, and up to Birmingham.

Amanda’spromotion to director after just under a year with the firm is a testament to her exceptional skills, dedication, and invaluable contributions to the team.

She brings a wealth of experience and expertise in family law, specialising in children, complex divorce, high net worth financial matters, and domestic abuse matters. Amanda is also a Chartered Legal Executive and a domestic abuse champion with the Reducing the Risk charity, as well as being Resolution accredited in private children and domestic abuse.

Throughout her career, Amanda has demonstrated a deep understanding and empathy towards clients facing challenging circumstances. She recognises that many individuals are going through extremely difficult times when they seek legal assistance, and she approaches each case sensitively, providing a supportive environment for clients to discuss their concerns. Amanda’s commitment to serving clients from all backgrounds and her dedication to helping them achieve the best possible outcomes have earned her respect within the legal community.

Having been involved in family law since 2009 and qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2014, Amanda possesses a wealth of experience in navigating the complexities of family disputes. Her membership in Resolution, an organisation for family lawyers dedicated to non-confrontational approaches, underscores her belief in resolving matters with empathy and understanding.

With her advocacy skills and in-depth knowledge of the court process, Amanda ensures her clients have a realistic understanding of their legal journey and what to expect throughout it.
