This year, the prestigious legal directory has ranked Duncan Lewis across seven key practice areas, including Family, Housing, Public and Administrative Law, Immigration: Human Rights, Asylum, and Deportation, Civil Liberties and Human Rights, and Public Law Children. Notably, our Crime department has once again secured a Band 1 ranking for its work in the Thames Valley.

• Alia Lewis, Director, has made her debut ranking in Children: Public Law Matters UK-wide. Alia also earned a special recognition in the DEI Champions Spotlight for her ongoing campaign with Family Law Advice for the Neurodivergent Community (FLANC) to drive systemic reform within the family justice system. In one glowing testimonial a referee told Chambers: "Alia is doing ground-breaking work. She is breaking boundaries for representing children in care proceedings, especially those with severe disabilities."
• Manjinder Kaur Atwal has moved up in the ranks to Band 2 for Social Housing UK-wide, following outstanding client and market feedback. She has been praised as “very commercially aware and excellent at obtaining great results for her clients”.

• Emine Mehmet retained her ranking in Children: Public Law Matters UK-wide, described as “an excellent lawyer who works extremely hard for the children she represents.”
• Dianne Cowie continues to be ranked for her Social Housing work nationwide, recognised as “an extremely competent, committed, and common-sense litigator.”
• James Packer, Lewis Kett, Toufique Hossain and Ahmed Aydeed have maintained their rankings for Immigration: Human Rights, Asylum and Deportation UK-wide, while Tamana Aziz continues to be ranked in Immigration: Business UK-wide.
• Toufique Hossain is also ranked for his Administrative and Public Law and Civil Liberties and Human Rights work nationwide, hailed as “a true force of nature” and “a phenomenal facilitator”.
• Olamide Olayemi, described as “very professional”, has been ranked for a third consecutive year for her Family and Matrimonial work in Leicester.
• Philippa Barton continues to be ranked for her expertise in Court of Protection and Property Affairs, singled out by referees for her “very companionate nature”.
