Solicitors Nazhat Ditta, Hassan Dervish and Simeon Wilmore have been welcomed into their respective teams in our Civil Litigation and Housing departments this month.

Nazhat Ditta, Civil Litigation

Nazhat Ditta qualified as a solicitor in 2012 and brings considerable skill and experience to our civil litigation department team, and will be based in City of London offices, where she will collaborate closely with fellow directors, Anthony Okumah and Sunil Patel. With a distinguished tenure of over 2 years in a supervisory capacity at her previous firm, Nazhat brings a wealth of experience, particularly in representing banks in litigation. She has handled and resolved complex and high-value civil disputes for clients including bringing recovery actions against debtors and bringing claims for breach of contract, product misselling through misrepresentation and unfair relationships.

We are thrilled to welcome her aboard and anticipate her invaluable contributions to our civil litigation team.

Hassan Dervish and Simeon Wilmore, Housing Law

Vastly experienced solicitor Hassan Dervish will be bringing is deep well of knowledge to our top ranked housing team at Duncan Lewis Solicitors, based City of London office. With more than 20 years of post-qualification experience, Hassan’s specialty lies in all aspects of housing litigation and tenant/landlord disputes.

Hassan has experience acting for both landlords and tenants in matters including adverse possession, possession and forfeiture proceedings, service charge disputes, disrepair, bringing and defending injunctions, boundary disputes, property nuisance/negligence claims, and injunction and committal proceedings.

Alongside Hassan, we are excited to announce the addition of widely respected solicitor Simeon Wilmore to our expanding housing team, where he will serve as a director, also based in our City of London office. With a successful practice spanning since 2010, Simeon brings extensive expertise in an array of housing litigation and social welfare law, including housing disrepair, unlawful evictions, homelessness, possession, and judicial review.

With the inclusion of Hassan and Simeon, our nationwide housing team is now led by an impressive ensemble of 7 Directors. They join the esteemed ranks of Bernadette Chikwe, David Head, Dianne Cowie, Lorick Winarskie, and Manjinder Atwal, further fortifying our commitment to excellence and service.
