We are pleased to announce that Angelique Hu has accepted a role as a Newly Qualified Solicitor within our award-winning Immigration department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors following the recent completion of her training contract with the firm.

Angelique begun her journey at Duncan Lewis in October 2021, joining the firm as a Caseworker. Securing a training contract with the firm in November 2022 and qualifying as a Solicitor in 2024, Angelique works under the supervision of Director and Solicitor, Tamana Aziz, with a dedicated team of solicitors, trainees and caseworkers.

Throughout her traineeship, Angelique regularly advised and assisted privately funded clients on a wide range of immigration matters. These include applications for Settlement, Nationality and Citizenship, Passports/Travel Documents, Family Reunion, Spouse/Partner/Fiancé, Visitor Visas, Global Talent, Representatives of an Overseas Business, Sponsorship Licences, Skilled Worker Visas as well as applications outside of the Immigration Rules. While predominantly focused on private immigration matters, Angelique also has experience with Public Law matters such as applications for Judicial Review.

Upon completing her training contract and accepting a role as a Newly Qualified Solicitor, Angelique stated “I really enjoyed my Training Contract with the guidance and support from my director, Tamana Aziz, and supervisor, Amrit Raindi. I am excited to deal with cases more independently and to continue to help people with their immigration matters.”
