We are delighted to announce that experienced housing director, Dianne Cowie, has been appointed Co-Chair of Housing Law Practitioners Association (HLPA)'s Executive Committee alongside, Tim Baldwin of Garden Court Chambers and Laura Coyle of Turpin Miller LLP.

HLPA was founded to serve as a forum for professionals engaged in the housing field to share knowledge and information. Their community welcomes individuals dedicated to utilising housing law to uphold the rights of the homeless, tenants, and occupants alike. Among their members are solicitors, barristers, advice workers, independent environmental health officers, and various other housing practitioners all united in their commitment to advancing housing justice. Some of the HLPA’s objectives include: advancing equal access to the justice system, protecting the rights of vulnerable communities including homeless persons, tenants and others who are disadvantaged in the provision of housing, enhancing the legal protections of tenants and occupiers, nurturing the role of the legal process in advocating a higher standard in housing, and developing expertise in the housing field through education and sharing knowledge.
