A ten-year-old boy was treated in hospital for facial injuries after a fight between 15 youths outside a branch of Tesco supermarket on Thursday (16/10/14).
STV Scotland reports that the gang gathered outside Tesco in Lang Stracht, Aberdeen at around 8.15pm – the fight involved boys and girls aged between ten and 14.
The initial fights led to other small incidents in the area, said police in Aberdeen.
Inspector Kevin Wallace said police were currently responding to a number of reports from members of the public who had witnessed incidents involving youths fighting in the area.
“Incidents of this nature are rare and we would urge the public to pass on any information and allow us to investigate,” said Insp Wallace.
“Enquiries are at an early stage and as yet no one has been arrested or charged,” he added.
The boy injured in the fracas outside Tesco was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
