One man arrested on suspicion of affray, after 30 men brawl in West Yorkshire car park (7 April 2015)

Police in West Yorkshire are searching for up to 30 men who were caught on video brawling near a children’s playground, where children were playing on an inflatable slide.
The Express reports that the incident happened on Sunday, 29 March at around 6.30pm in a shopping centre car park near the Xscape leisure park in Castleford, West Yorkshire.
A witness captured the incident on their mobile phone camera, including one person lying on the ground.
Security staff at the shopping centre broke up the fight and the men fled before police officers arrived to arrest them. A man was taken to hospital for treatment to a head wound, which was described as non life-threatening.
A 31-year-old man from Normanton was arrested on suspicion of affray and was bailed pending police investigations.
The police have released CCTV of the incident and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward – anyone with information can dial 101 or send in any footage of the fight.
Chief Inspector Darren Williams said:
“Clearly this would have been a distressing incident to witness for those attending the leisure park at the time.
“This sort of behaviour is totally unacceptable and will not tolerated.
“It must also be stressed that this sort of large-scale incident is very unusual for the centre.”
