Duncan Lewis, Community Care Solicitors, Solicitors Support University of Bedfordshire Family Law Clinic

Duncan Lewis Solicitors is proud to support the University of Bedfordshire's Family Law Clinic, providing essential legal guidance to members of the local community who need help with family law matters but cannot afford legal advice or qualify for legal aid.

Professional Support You Can Trust

Emily Rand, Natasha Patel, and Taryn Brandt, solicitors in our Luton office, are dedicating their time and expertise to support the University's Family Law Clinic. The team works under the supervision of Krina Parmar, Director and Supervisor, to provide professional guidance to members of the local community who cannot afford legal advice or qualify for legal aid.

What Types of Advice Are Available?

The Family Law Clinic can provide initial guidance on matters including:

  • Separation and divorce
  • Child custody and arrangements
  • Domestic arrangements
  • Other family law concerns affecting you and your family

How It Works

When you attend a consultation, you'll receive initial legal advice from a qualified solicitor, with University of Bedfordshire law students observing and learning from the process. Following your consultation, students prepare detailed follow-up letters of advice under professional supervision, ensuring you have clear guidance on your next steps.

The Clinic is registered with LawWorks, a national charity supporting pro bono legal work, and operates to professional standards while delivering much-needed services to the community.

Availability

The Family Law Clinic operates throughout the summer months, with reduced hours during July and August. This partnership reflects Duncan Lewis Solicitors' ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals and families in our community when they need legal guidance most.

If you're experiencing family law issues and need advice, the Family Law Clinic at the University of Bedfordshire may be able to help.
