Katarina joins Duncan Lewis with significant experience acting for claimants in large group actions for misrepresentation against financial institutions. She has acted for claimants in occupational disease claims including asbestos-related and industrial deafness. Further, she has successfully sought compensation for claimants involving; accidents at work, against public authorities and faulty products claims. Katarina has also represented clients for clinical negligence claims specifically against dentists and surgeons, and also acted for clients for misdiagnosis.
Katarina joins a small niche clinical negligence team that includes Farah Hussein (Birmingham) and Shirley Giani (also London) which focuses on acting in claims for children and adults who have suffered profound and permanent brain, spinal or neurological injuries and associated disabilities as a consequence of failings in medical care in both NHS and private hospitals. In addition, Katarina is one of 7 Personal Injury solicitors with Duncan Lewis and works closely with newly appointed Director and Personal Injury specialist Julie Leslie in Personal Injury Claimant matters.
