Testimonials

  • "Just firstly want to say a huge THANK YOU for what you have done for my family. I'm so impressed with all your hard work and high efforts throughout working with me .Not only that but your compassion for this area and field you work in day in and day out. Must be exhausting on a daily basis to deal with and challenging for you. It’s made a massive difference to me by having you as my solicitor in a really emotional and I would say complex and challenging case especially for me. I'm grateful for all your time, effort and making sure you yourself were dealing with this case for me, I'm very grateful for that. I feel very very lucky to have landed you as my solicitor." - Rachel, June 2023

Awards

  • Recommended Lawyer - Legal 500 UK, (2024)

Notable Cases

High Court
  • Birmingham City Council v AB & Others [2014] EWHC 3090 (Fam) - I represented a Paternal Grandfather and Paternal Aunt in the High Court in a case involving one parent killing the other, successfully supporting the case for the children to be placed away from family members to protect their welfare.

  • Re X (A Child)(Surrogacy: Time Limit) [2014] EWHC 3135 (Fam) - I represented a parent whom arranged for his son to be born by surrogate mother in India but the commissioning parents later separating and not having sought a Parental Order within the 6 month time limit in the UK. The court ultimately changed the law for the country to allow a Parental Order to be made out of time as any other orders would not have satisfactorily reflected the reality of the living arrangements for the child.
