Southwark Council have asked local residents to take part in a survey to find out how much the general public know and understand about child sexual exploitation. The aim of the survey is to collate information so they know how to effectively target their campaign, making it as effective as possible.
“We want to find out where to target our campaign, to whom, and what people still need to know”
They will be conducting the survey through the first part of this year and will repeat it in a years time. Within this timeframe there will be a campaign to increase public awareness of the dangers, risks and harm associated with child exploitation. They will use the results from the next survey to measure the success of the campaign.
“[We need to find out] what we must do to make Southwark a safer place for children”.
