Child Panel Member and Family Law Consultant Solicitor, Carol Gibson joins Legal 500 recommended Duncan Lewis Solicitors' Family Law Department.
Duncan Lewis Solicitors are pleased to announce that Child Panel Member and Family Law Consultant Solicitor Carol Gibson has joined their Family Law Department in Birmingham.
Carol Gibson joined Duncan Lewis Solicitors in May 2014 and brings with over 20 years of experience in Family Law experience, practicing in areas including; divorce, financial disputes between divorcing couples as well as those couples who live together; adoption, child abduction, declaration of parentage, special guardianship orders, prohibited steps and specific issue orders and forced marriage cases.
In addition to her impressive experience, Carol has been a member of the Children Panel for eleven years. This specialist qualification enables her to represent children through their Children's Guardian.
Carol’s wealth of experience gives her a well grounded overall knowledge of the problems that families face in their daily lives and has over the last 11 years specialized in representing not only children but parents whose children have been removed from their care by the local authority. She has experience in representing those parents who have mental health issues and those who have learning difficulties.
She has appeared regularly before Magistrates, District Judges, and Circuit Judges. She has also represented clients in the local High Court and the High Court in London in order to present her client’s case.
Carol will be joining the firm’s Legal 500 recommended Family and Child Care Law Department.
