Profile / Experience
I am a Trainee Solicitor in the Immigration Department at Duncan Lewis. I joined the firm in August 2016 and am currently based in the Harrow office.
I work with a group of solicitors, trainees and caseworkers on a wide range of asylum, human rights and public law matters.
My clients include; detainees, victims of torture, unaccompanied asylum seeking children and other vulnerable clients who require assistance with their immigration matters. This ranges from dealing with clients at their initial asylum claim to attending their interviews and assisting them with making applications for further settlement in the United Kingdom.
I am accredited as a Level 2 Caseworker under the Law Society's Immigration and Asylum Scheme. This means that I have shown that I have specialist knowledge and experience in the area of Immigration law and can advise and assist publicly funded clients under the company's legal aid contract. I am also DBS enhanced.
I am fluent in Dari.
