I am a Caseworker in the Family department at Duncan Lewis and have gained experience in a broad spectrum of matters since I joined the firm in November 2019.
I am currently responsible for managing my own caseload of family and private law children matters and have significant experience in assisting clients with the following applications under the Children Act:
- Child Arrangement Order Applications (including orders in respect of who the children should ‘live with’, or how much time the children are to spend with a parent)
- Specific Issue Orders (including orders for the return of children to a parent)
- Prohibited Steps Orders (including orders to prevent the removal of children from a parent or from the jurisdiction)
I also handle a caseload of family matters including divorce and domestic abuse matters. Further, I am experienced in assisting vulnerable clients who have been victims of domestic abuse with obtaining emergency protective injunctions such as non-molestation orders, occupation orders, and forced marriage protection orders.
I regularly undertake my own court advocacy and represent clients at initial hearings, return hearings and dispute resolution hearings. I am committed to justice and fairness and strive to assist clients in a cooperative way to achieve the best possible resolution and outcome.
