If you have a case concerning a health and welfare matters, it is possible to apply for legal aid. For cases in relation to Deprivation of Liberty Safeguarding Orders, non-means tested Legal Aid is available for the person proceedings relate to. In relation to property and affair matters, legal aid funding is not available. Additionally, it is not available for applications relating to Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyship, generally speaking.
