Profile / Experience
I am a Caseworker within the immigration department.
I predominantly assist those seeking asylum, those seeking to submit further representations and those who have appeals before the First-tier and Upper Tribunal. I have a particular passion for representing unaccompanied minors and those with particular vulnerabilities, including those with mental health problems and victims of torture. I have significant experience assisting victims of human trafficking and modern slavery. I also have experience in representing victims of domestic violence.
As well as the above, I assist solicitors with various judicial review matters, including CART judicial reviews.
Before working as a caseworker, I held the position of an 'outdoor clerk' so I have extensive experience of representing clients who are detained in both immigration removal centres and prisons.
