I am a Caseworker in the Business/Private Immigration Department at Duncan Lewis. I have joined the team in January 2020, and I am based in the Harrow office. My work is supervised by my director, Tamana Aziz.
My role consists in advise and deal with the daily progression of cases. These cases include:
- EEA applications;
- Citizenship and naturalisation;
- Entry Clearance applications;
- Leave to Remain applications;
- Further Leave to Remain applications;
- Family Reunion applications;
- Settlement applications
I have also previously worked in the Child Care and Family Department at Duncan Lewis under the supervision of Ravi Kaur Mahey where I obtained significant insight on cases involving forced female genital mutilation (FGM), domestic violence and rape. Working in different areas of law has enabled me to gain confidence in my ability to deliver quality service to clients.
I am fluent in Tamil and Italian and conversational in Spanish and French at a lower intermediate level. My linguistical skills have allowed me to provide a better legal assistance to clients who struggle to express themselves in English. I have gained valuable legal skills from my previous experiences in working as a Paralegal in the Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence, Civil Litigation and Immigration departments.
