Profile / Experience
I am a Caseworker within the Immigration Department at Duncan Lewis. I joined the firm in 2018 and currently work under the direct supervision of Immigration Law Director, Zofia Duszynska in the company's Harrow office.
My role as a caseworker involves assisting the team of immigration solicitors, trainees and caseworkers with the day-to-day case proceedings as well as client and third-party correspondence on a wide range of immigration, asylum and human rights matters. I manage a caseload of clients needing support with fresh asylum claims, human rights violations and bail.
I have had a somewhat unconventional introduction to law having started life as a clinical dietitian (BSc, RD) and working within several large NHS Trusts. I began my transition into law in 2013, whilst working voluntarily for several years as a Special Constable with Thames Valley Police (April 2012-May 2017). Today, I have a special interest in protecting the rights of those in detention and believe that my professional history and academic training allows to me to positively, sensitively and effectively serve our clients.
