Sophie Rayment

I am a Solicitor in the Family and Child Care Department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors.

Primarily I assist with child care proceedings, acting for parents whose children have been removed from their care for a variety of reasons including drug abuse, physical abuse and poor home conditions. I seek to help the parents engage with the necessary professional services to obtain the help they need in order to have their children returned to their care safely.

I have experience dealing with vulnerable clients including domestic violence victims, clients who have suffered sexual abuse and clients suffering with psychological issues. I have consistently obtained Non Molestation Orders for victims of domestic violence ensuring they have the protection they need.

I also assist in Private Children Law proceedings obtaining clients Residence Orders, Contact Orders and Prohibited Steps Orders.
