I am Caseworker in the Public Law Department at Duncan Lewis, I am based in the firm's Croydon office.
I assist Solicitors under the supervision of Director of Immigration, Bernadette Adusei. I assist in the day-to-day case progression and client or third party correspondence, this involves assisting with appeals, drafting representations and preparing applications to the Home Office and attending and advising clients in relation to immigration and asylum matters.
So far, my career spans over 3 countries namely Mauritius, Republic of Ireland and UK. I have significant experience in all contract related matters having worked for over 8 years in this field with an international firm and a domestic firm in the UK. I also have a good working knowledge of data privacy, finance and immigration.
My interest in immigration started while assisting medical practitioners in their legal migration to the Republic of Ireland. This involved dealing with the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS), the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation (DJEI) and the Irish Medical Council (IMC).
I am fluent in English, French and Creole and I have moderate proficiency in Hindi.
