Profile / Experience

I am a Consultant Solicitor in both the Crime and the Action Against Public Authorities Departments at Duncan Lewis. I am based in the firm's Dalston office in central London and work under the supervision of Director Hardeep Dhaliwal.

I specialise in criminal defence and regularly represent clients at police stations and magistrates courts throughout London in a broad range of matters including; murder, attempted murder, rape, serious assaults and fraud cases. I have experience acting in matters with an international element, including representing a client who was investigated by the National Crime Agency (NCA) in relation to alleged offences committed in the USA. I recently represented a client who was charged with six others for Conspiracy to Supply class A Drugs. Due to the advice given to him during the police station interview, the Crown Prosecution Service decided not to pursue the matter against him, despite all other co-conspirators pleading guilty to the offence and receiving lengthy custodial sentences.

I have obtained my criminal litigation accreditation with the Law Society, which enables me to represent clients as a Duty Solicitor and is proof that I have demonstrated that I have and will maintain a high level of knowledge, skills, experience and practice in the area of criminal litigation.

For those who struggle to communicate in English, I am fluent in both Urdu and Punjabi.
