Profile / Experience
I am a Caseworker in the public law department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors, based in the firm’s Harrow office. I work with a team of solicitors, trainees and caseworkers under the supervision of solicitor Krisha Prathepan and public law director Toufique Hossain.
My role as a caseworker encompasses taking instructions from and assisting clients in the preparation of their case, as well as providing the team with assistance in their other matters where needed. I work on a broad range of human rights and judicial review cases. I am accredited as a Trainee Caseworker Assistant under the Law Society's Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme meaning I am able to assist with immigration and asylum matters.
I have previously undertaken legal and voluntary work placements, including at The University of Sheffield's FreeLaw clinic, Greenpeace East Asia and Freedom from Torture (North East Branch).
