I am a Solicitor in the Childcare Department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. I qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and am a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel. I have extensive experience in representing parents, children and other family members in a range of both public and private law proceedings. This includes cases regarding:
- Care proceedings
- Child abduction matters
- Child Arrangements Order applications regarding disputes about where a child lives and their contact with their non-resident parent
- Domestic Violence matters
- Special Guardianship
I am also experienced in dealing with particularly vulnerable members of society, such as those with mental health difficulties and learning difficulties and have been instructed by the Official solicitor in relation to such clients on a number of occasions.
I am also involved in running a legal advice clinic within the local community to provide advice and assistance to those who attend seeking help regarding obtaining domestic violence injunctions as well as general family and children matters.
I undertake my own advocacy for clients wherever possible and am committed to obtaining the best possible outcome for each and every client.
