I am a Solicitor within the Family and Child Care team at Duncan Lewis’ Luton Branch.
Since joining Duncan Lewis in September 2016, I have acquired vast and extensive experience in representing parents in care proceedings and victims of domestic violence, primarily funded publicly by Legal Aid. This includes Non-Molestation Orders, Occupation Orders, domestic abuse on children.

I have experience in child abduction matters at the High Court having successfully ensured that children were safeguarded and the matter was in my client's favour.
I also represent parents within s.8 Children Act Orders dealing with matters involving domestic abuse, substance misuse and mental health issues.. This includes Child Arrangement Orders, Specific Issues Orders, Prohibited Steps Orders and Special Guardianship Orders.
My duties consist of drafting legal documents, liaising with clients on a daily basis, and working to meet deadlines set by the relevant legal authorities to achieve the best possible outcome for my clients. I undertake advocacy at both County and Magistrates’ Courts before District Judges and Lay Magistrates, this includes successful applications relating to injunctions, residence and contact applications.
I have build a good rapport with my clients by attending pro bono surgeries every fortnight where I meet and assist victims of domestic abuse at Women’s Aid in Luton, Northampton, and Milton Keynes. My attendance consists of providing clear advice in obtaining the relevant orders specific to the needs of every client. I am also a member of the Charity Committee at Duncan Lewis.
I am passionate about working in child care and family law and want to bring about positive change to achieve a better future for families.
