I am a Housing Solicitor at Duncan Lewis having joined in February 2018. I am a highly experienced housing solicitor specialising in all aspects of landlord and tenant law and my primary areas of expertise are; homelessness, possession proceedings, unlawful evictions and disrepair matters.
Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2007, I have established a track record in successfully representing clients who are either homeless or at risk of losing their homes. I strive to understand the complexities of the client's circumstances in order to ensure that I provide them with the best legal advice and ensure successful outcomes in what can be extremely distressing and worrying times. I deal with all aspects of homelessness matters including homelessness reviews and appeals.
I also have significant experience in dealing with possession proceedings. I frequently deal with cases involving possession proceedings on a variety of different grounds, including; rent arrears, alleged breaches of the tenancy agreement, and Section 21 & Section 8 notices.
I assist both tenants and landlords in housing law matters and have experience of dealing with cases in the county courts, the Administrative Court and the Court of Appeal.
My passion is providing clients - in particular those who are in vulnerable situations - with the highest standard of professional legal advice and representation.
