Profile / Experience
I am a Caseworker in the Public Law and Immigration departments at Duncan Lewis Solicitors.
My role involves assisting the trainees and solicitors within my team with the daily case progressions and client or third party correspondence on a wide variety of immigration, human rights, asylum, and public law matters, and I am currently assisting the team with judicial review applications.
As recognised experts in human rights matters by legal directory The Legal 500, the immigration and public law departments undertake significant amounts of human rights related work - particularly breaches of Article 3 and 5 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) - thanks to my GDL studies I have an in-depth understanding of human rights law, enabling me to assist the team expertly in such cases.
I am working towards my Level 2 Senior Caseworker accreditation under the Law Society's Immigration and Asylum Scheme. This will allow me to further the clients I can represent by enabling me to advise and assist publicly funded clients through the company's legal aid contract and
