Prior to joining Duncan Lewis, I worked and volunteered for charity organisation, assisting clients with welfare benefit, housing, debts, employment and family law issues.
I have over 10 years experience in immigration and asylum law. I specialise in the areas of asylum, human rights, removal and deportation, detention, entry clearance, EEA, settlement and nationality, Points Based System, Asylum, in respect of both publicly funded cases and private clients. I represent and advocates on behalf of clients in immigration appeals/bail applications at the First-tier and Upper Tier Tribunal of the Immigration Asylum Chamber.
I also have extensive experience in Judicial Review claimant cases, frequently negotiating successful settlements for clients and obtaining emergency injunctions to stop removals and deportations from the UK
