I am a Solicitor in the Family and Child Care Department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors based at the City of London office. I joined the firm in November 2017 and have progressed my career within the firm.
My training contract concluded in August 2021, following successful completion of three different seats within the Childcare, Family, and International Family Law department.
I work with Child Care Director, Kathy Walker, and a team of Solicitors that specialise in Children Law and Family Law. As a solicitor, I specialise in both public and private law children matters, representing parents, grandparents and extended family members in a wide range of matters. I have experience in domestic violence and private law Children matters, such as Child Arrangements Order, Prohibited Steps Order, Specific Issue Order and Relocation Order. I work with vulnerable clients, including those with a language barrier, learning difficulties and mental illness. I also represent parents, grandparents and intervenor's within Care Proceedings, where the concerns relate to domestic violence, neglect, drug and alcohol misuse, mental illness and non-accidental injury.
I have experiences, legal and non-legal, of working with children and adults in sensitive matters and as a result, I have developed the ability to work with individuals of a range of ages and personalities.
For those clients that struggle to communicate in English, I speak Arabic.
