Profile / Experience
I am a Solicitor in the Immigration and Public Law Department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. I have experience in handling a wide range of diverse and complex matters.
I am particularly passionate about assisting those who are vulnerable, such as victims of torture or trafficking and ensure that I exercise extreme care and sensitivity in order to gain their trust and make them as comfortable as they can be when assisting such clients.
As a part of the extensive amount of appeal work that I undertake, I liaise with various experts and maintain close and professional relationships with various counsels. These relationships across different fields ensure that my clients' cases are dealt with to the highest standard and receive the best prospects of success.
I also specialise in unlawful detention cases, assisting vulnerable clients in gaining financial settlements to compensate them for their unjustified and unlawful detention. I regularly deal with urgent and last-minute removal cases in which it has been required to lodge in court in order to successfully prevent the removal of vulnerable individuals.
My private legal work includes assisting clients with EEA applications and applications for Indefinite Leave to Remain.
I am an accredited Level 2 Senior Caseworker under the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme (IAAS) which means I have demonstrated the standard of skill and knowledge as set out by the Society in this area of law.
I am committed to ensuring my clients receive the best standard of care and representation in their legal matters at all times.
